ESPN GameDay has made it official that the program is coming to Eugene for Saturday’s match-up between the #11 Ducks and our #6 Bears.

This is another opportunity for Cal to make a statement on the national stage over a top-15 team. This time, the race for the conference championship is on the line and ESPN GameDay will be there to showcase the battle.

Autzen Stadium will be an unfriendly environment, with the Ducks looking for revenge after last season’s blowout (the then-#16 Bears crushed #11 Oregon 45-24). Cal hasn’t left Eugene with a W since the beginning of the Tedford era as well.

This Saturday will be the test that determines whether Cal lives up to the expectations and hype. Let’s hope that the Bears step up to the challenge with the nation watching.
